Some of Ancient Greece's Technology wasn't very different than ours, but they did use it differently. For instance, did you know that they had movies then to? Well, their movies wasn't even close to how we created it. They made their movies by taking a camp fire, lighting it, and then taking sticks and cut outs of either cats, dogs, trees, anything. Then after that they would take some of the slaves and have them walk by the fire as many times as they have to. Then inside the cave the reflection would reflect and create the pictures. That's how they would make their movies. Compared to us and our making of the movies its much different we just have a slide going over and over again. Some other types of their technology was surgical tools. Philosophy was also big in Ancient Greece. Some important philosophers was Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, and Pythagoras. Philosophy meant the seeking of logical explanations of the world around them. Philosophy was invented in 500 B.C. In 399 B.C., the Athenian jury sentenced Socrates to death for not believing in the gods and the city and corrupting young men. Science was also a big thing in Ancient Greece. Some important scientists include Hippocrates, Euclid, and Pythagoras. Science is just like philosophy, because they both believed in an orderly universe. One of the things Greek scientists argued about was that the sun, stars, and planets moved around Earth. Scientists in Ancient Greece barely tried to solve practical probelms. Democritus, another Greek scientist thought that all things were made of atoms, tiny bits that can't be divided.
